My little sleeping Cub! (7-09)

Jacob is the sweetest little baby. I love that he is a thumb sucker. If he gets upset, he cries out for a second and usually before you can even pick him up, he sticks his thumb in his mouth. This day, I set him on the floor to go make him a bottle for his nap time. When I can back he was sound asleep. Before I carried him up to his crib, I had to get this peaceful picture.

Protecting Jacob! (7-09)

This is how I protect Cubby (Jacob) from Joshua. Cubby loves to lay on the floor and play with toys, but I have to be careful so Joshua won't smother him with "love". While I am doing dishes, he sits on the counter and "helps" me. While I do laundry, he sits on the dryer and "helps" me. When I vaccum, Joshua holds on and "helps" me push it. I find that's a good way to let The Cub have some tummy time without worring that he's going to get hurt. Joshua LOVES to help me do almost anything. He "helps" take bags of garage to the can. He helps me brush my hair and he even helps me blog. He is a true blessing in our lives. He is very busy, but so adorable.

Joshy strikes again! (7-09)

Joshua not only like formula made into milk, but he like to eat it dry. We can't leave in on the counter because he just gets a chair and pushes it over.
As soon as he saw me come around the corner he looked up with little grin and then ran to the couch to put himself in timeout. He said, "a mess, TIMEOUT" Apparently, I say timeout much louder than other words because anytime he says it, it's in a LOUD voice.
He had dried formula all over his mouth and hands. After he sat in timeout for a while, I told him to go clean it up.
He went right over and got a rag out of the drawer and started to clean it up. Actually, he was just spreading it around.

It's a good thing he is so sweet and so cute because he sure does leave a mess in his wake. You just gotta love 2 year olds!

Take me out to the ball game.....

Justin's Cub-Scout troop getting ready to present the flag to the audience of the Orem Owls game.
Justin is the 3rd to the end in tan shorts.
He was so excited to come to the game with his troop.
We stayed for the whole game. I was really impressed with how well the boys did considering it didn't get over until after 10pm. The Owls won 7 to 1. We all had a wonderful time!
The older boys were very excited to meet the mascot, but Joshua was scared and clung to my leg saying, "scary" over and over.

Bouncing Baby Boy! (6-09)

Jacob loves his jumping station. When he's in it all you hear is squealing and giggling. He is growing too fast. It is so fun to see his growth and new things he can do, but it's sad to see my little baby growing up so quickly.

Fireworks!

I know I'm 2 weeks behind in posting, but at least I got them posted in the same month. The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays!!!

4th of July!

Joshua driving his truck up the hill.
Jacob sucking on his big toe. This was the first time ever any of our boys sucked on one of their toes. I'm glad I had the camera to catch it.
Too bad you can't hear the belly laugh that goes with that cute face!
Our family looks bigger and bigger every 4th of July. I know it's cheesy to have your whole family in matching shirts, but I LOVE it!
