Christmas Eve Night 2007

Our three boys opened their matching jammies to wear to bed as tradition and then a new family game. Justin and Ryan had a wonderful time playing Perfection with Jonathan, Katherine and Victoria. Everytime the game board popped up the screams got louder. What a fun day!

Christmas Morning 2007

Christmas Morning 2007

Christmas morning was a blast. Jeff and I had to wake Justin and Ryan up at 8:30am because we couldn't wait any longer. We had all three kids in the our bedroom and we went out to get there first reactions with the still camera and the video camera. We told Justin to carry Joshua out. It turns out that wasn't such a good idea. When the kids came around the corner, Justin saw the presents under the tree and dropped the baby on the floor. Luckily, he kind of bent down and dropped him slowly so the baby wasn't hurt just freaked out.

Christmas Day at Grammy and Grampy's 2007

We had such a good time on Christmas Day at my parent's house. We had an awsome dinner (Thanks Mom) and lots of laughs. My sister Sandi and her family were here visiting. It was the first time we've been together on Christmas since 2000. The cousins loved playing with each other and getting to know each other better. I got Sandi an Elvis Pez set and she got me a cookbook called 101 things to make with Raman Noodles.

Turkey Bowl

On Thanksgiving we played our first annual Turkey Bowl. Well, I stood on the deck and took pictures and helped Oma and Opa (Jeff's parents) with the dishes, but it looked like fun. Sorry to everyone reading my blog. I just started yesterday and I am trying to catch up on the last few holidays. I could become addicted to this - it's fun. Thanks Patti!!!

Thanksgiving 2007

We had a great Thanksgiving at our house this year. We had Deb, Amy, Jared (Jeff's sisters and brother) and families as well as Oma and Opa (Jeff's parents) to dinner. We missed Tonya and Jennifer (Jeff's sisters) and their families. Jeff had an awesome time smoking his very first turkey in his brand new smoker. Everyone raved about his turkey so it was worth all the time and effort. I can't wait to have it again next year. Justin and Ryan had a fabulous time playing with their cousins and Joshua enjoyed being held by several family members. In fact, I don't recall him ever being put down. I had a good time but was way too occupied with keeping my house clean. So sorry, I promise to relax more next time we have a big gathering and Amy promises to remind me that I said so.

Sanford Clan

We had these pictures taken Christmas weekend while my sister's family was here in town. Sandi, Neil, Jonathan (13), Katherine (11), Victoria (7).

Joshy Squashy

Joshua is almost 10 months old and is such a joy. He is pulling up to stand and crawling like crazy. He melts everyone's heart especially Grammy and Grampy! He loves to smile and show off his 2 pearly whites. If he wasn't all over me I would be able to brag more. Stay tuned for more updates.
