Sock Pet

Justin made this sock pet at school out of one of Jeff's old socks. When it came home it was bald. All the boys liked watching the progress of it growing hair over a few weeks.

My Little Prince!

It was awfully quiet down in the basement. The older boys were at school and the baby asleep. Quiet could mean only one thing. I went down stairs expecting a huge mess, but this is what I saw. My little prince all curled up on the couch sound asleep. It was a peaceful, beautiful moment. I stood there a watched him sleep for a few minutes and then went to find my camera. I want to remember this moment forever.
Look at that face. It's the face of an angel. Joshua is such a handful and I am regularly all worn out chasing him and failing to keep up. I find myself frustrated and tired. Then I get a moment like this and I "KNOW" it is all worth it.

Ryan's Graduation from Preschool

My eyes welled up with tears when they called Ryan's name and he entered the room. Jeff got a little choked up too. We are so happy to have Ryan in our family. He brings us such joy and love.
As usual, our little Ryan had a big grin on his face as he walked by.
What a cute class. Ryan is second from the left.
I think he's the class clown. He has always has smile on his face.
Ryan sang, 'Marvin the Monkey' and didn't miss a word. I was so proud of him. I can't believe how much he grew up this school year. He is defiantly ready for Kindergarten.

Graduation part 2

Ryan did such a great job reading his book out loud to the audience.
Ryan would look up and grin every time he turned the page. The audience kept chuckling.
Ryan absolutely adored his teacher. Mrs. Eby did a wonderful job as his teacher and I hope we can get her for Joshua in a few years.
Ryan had both sets of grandparents at his graduation. Jeff's parents on the left, Debra's parents on the right.

My Little Artists!

My boys love to paint. Justin is getting so much better at getting his hands dirty. He can enjoy the process, but he does like to get all clean when he is finished. Ryan on the other hand, would never wash his hands if we didn't make him. Joshua is still unsure of this freedom to make a mess. He kept looking up at me with a confused look on his face. He is our mess maker. So he is used to me gasping when I find him doing something like this. I'm trying to teach him that there are lots of times to be creative without getting into trouble.
