Last Day of School (5-09)

On the last day of School (5-29-09) we decided to have friends over to celebrate the end of the school year. We roasted marshmallows in a fire pit on our deck and made smores. It was a big hit with the kids. The kids played like crazy while the adults played games and chatted. It was a lot of fun. We need to this more often.

Last Day of School

Joshua Isaac He was all about sticky marshmallow sandwiches like most 2 year olds.
Jared and Brittney came over with their girls to celebrate!
Chuck and April came to help us celebrate too! April taught us a dice game called farkle. Now I'm addicted to playing in on facebook.

After our marshmallow roast the kids played and played. Then we put a movie on for them to watch. I thought it was so cute that they were all snuggled together.

BTW - I am a month behind. I just down loaded my pictures from the last month and have over 500. I have to go chronologically it's part of my OCD. So there are a lot of posts coming soon to a blog near you.

Justin loves Soccer!

Justin was sad to see the soccer season end. However, it won't be long until the football season starts.
Nice Save Justin! He's an awesome player!
Justin loves soccer. That's not a surprise to me because he loves all sports. What is amazing to me is how much Jeff is into soccer right along with Justin. Anytime Justin is the goalie, Jeff stands next to the box giving him instruction and praise. He is one of the loudest Dads screaming "Way to Go" "Good Job Justin". The only sports that Jeff watches are the sports that one of our kids is playing.
I never thought I would enjoy going to the games as much as I do. It's exhilarating seeing my little Justin playing on the field. He gets so into it.

Kids Everywhere! (5-09)

We love our new backyard and our neighborhood. There are kids everywhere for my children to play with. Both of our next door neighbors, the neighbors behind us and the neighbors across the street have kids my kid's ages. It's wonderful especially because they are all nice kids the kind you WANT your children to choose as friends. Hooray for Utah neighborhoods!

Jacob at 5 Months Old

Jacob or as I call him Cubby is an awesome baby. He sleeps 11 to 12 hours at night and takes 2 good naps a day. He is almost always pleasant and smiling. All three of the older boys love him. Maybe even too much. I'm constantly protecting him from the "love" Joshua is trying to give him. Ryan wants to sit next to him or hold him at every opportunity. Justin is the only one we let carry him around, but Ryan is a big help feeding him and running to get him diapers, wipes, binkies, toys or what ever he needs.

Joshua's 2nd Birthday!

We were singing "Happy Birthday" to him and Jeff was carrying over his cake. He was so excited.
Ahhhh, fire!!! My little ones are always so amazed by the candles.
He blew out his candles all by himself, but then I think he was sad the flames went away.
Joshua always bites the tip of the bottom of his ice cream cones for a complete mess making situation.
I asked him, "Do you want to open your presents?"

2nd B-day part 2

When he realized we were really bringing his presents to him, he began to giggle.

This glitter filled ball is one of all of my boys favorites including little Jacob.

Joshua loves books. This is a cool one because it has moving parts and is all about trucks.
