Go Spartans

Justin was on a football team for his first time this last August, September and October. I am finally getting around to blogging them. Jeff was the photographer for the team. So, I literally had over a thousand pictures of the season to go through.

Justin loved being a Spartan and can hardly wait to join the team next year as a big 3rd grader. He shows his trophy to every person that comes in our house including a sales guy, the Bishop and our home and visiting teachers. He loves football and his prized trophy. He was number 60 and he played first string defensive tackle and first string offensive guard. In a few of his games he played every single play. There were 39 three hour practices and 8 games. He went to every single one of them full of excitement. Quitting never crossed his mind even the first week when it was a 98 degrees and they had the boys doing all kinds of drills for 3 hours in the hot sun. Lots of the boys would just lay down on the field or cry or both, but never Justin. He is so awesome!
