Justin's Football Party (10-08)

The Spartans Football team rented out the Lehi Legacy Center's pool for their end of the season party. All the players had a blast! GO SPARTANS! This is several of the team waiting for a huge bucket of water to fall on them. Justin has on the white swim trunks and blue goggles.
This is Justin receiving his trophy. He is so proud of it and shows it to everyone that comes to our house. He can't wait to be on the team next year. GO SPARTANS!
The party was for the whole family. This is Ryan having fun in the pool. He has really taken to the water lately. My mom kept Joshua for us because the party didn't start until after his bed time.
This is Ryan coming do the slide. He must have gone down it at least 30 times. He was fun to watch.
This is Justin coming down the slide. He loved it too. However, he spent most of his time wrestling and playing with his coaches and teammates.

It was an awesome party and we had the best time. Ryan keeps asking if we can go back to the fun football practice at the fun pool.

Joshua's First Haircut (10-08)

Joshua did great with his first haircut. He sat very still and quiet for Shaunta. Jeff insisted that Joshua see his stylist even though he's only 17 months old. Jeff is very particular about our boy's haircuts. I know, that's weird, but that's my quirky husband for you.

He seems to have a love for Shaunta just like his daddy and brothers. Justin loves to go to the salon for a new style as often as he can.

This is the finished product. Jeff was very happy. Joshua is such a sweet little guy and easy to take places.

Sleepy Time! (9-08)

One of the many things I love about Joshua is he always wakes up with a smile on his cute little face. On this day, I had to wake him up early from his nap for his hair cut appointment. I thought I should get a couple of sweet sleeping pictures before I woke him up. Well, it only took 2 big flashes of light to wake him up. He still woke up with a smile. What a cute boy! I don't think I would smile when someone was standing above me flashing bright light in my face.

Cotten Candy Cutie! (9-08)

Joshua had his first experience with cotton candy at Justin's school carnival. My mom showed it to him, but he didn't really know what to do with it.

So, she gave him a taste. Guess what? He liked it! He said, "mmmmm".

Then he smiled and wanted more. Then he wanted more!

Then he reached out and took it and put it right up to his face with a giggle.

Joshua is a big fan of cotton candy. My mom and I had the best time watching him eat the entire thing. I love all of those first you get with a baby!

Carnival Fun (9-08)

My three boys had a great time at the school carnival. Justin and Ryan loved the rides and loved playing all the carnival games. They were thrilled with the little prizes they won.

This is Joshua's first ride ever. Justin got him all buckled in and ready ride, but I wasn't sure how he was going to like it.

He absolutely LOVED it! The faster the ride went the bigger his smile and the louder his giggle. He brings so much joy to our family.

Justin and Ryan liked the spinning ride the best of all and rode it several times. Each time they got their car spinning even faster than before. It made me dizzy just watching.

Grammy and Justin's Cake (9-08)

Grammy (my mom) made this cake for Justin to donate to the his school for their carnival. The theme was "Under the Sea". He was so excited and thought it turned out great!
He was even more excited when he was one of the winners in the cake walk game. His prize was to pick any of the donated cakes to take home. He chose the one Grammy made out of over 60 cakes. He could hardly wait to get home and taste it.
He said "it tastes just as good as it looks and I love it".
Ryan was also glad to have some cake, especially because it was already a 1/2 hour past his bed time. Eating cake is much better than sleeping.

Thanks mom for making the carnival an even bigger excitement for my boys!

Daddy teaching Ryan to Ride a Bike (8-08)

oops, this is what happens when Daddy lets go!
Oh good, I am glad Ryan decided to try it again!

Ryan decided that he was a big boy and that he wanted Daddy to teach him how to ride a bike with "no little wheels" as he calls it. It was so cute to watch. Ryan was all smiles as usual. Well, except the first time Daddy let go and he fell. However, he go right back on a kept trying. Go Ryan!
