4th of July!

Joshua driving his truck up the hill.
Jacob sucking on his big toe. This was the first time ever any of our boys sucked on one of their toes. I'm glad I had the camera to catch it.
Too bad you can't hear the belly laugh that goes with that cute face!
Our family looks bigger and bigger every 4th of July. I know it's cheesy to have your whole family in matching shirts, but I LOVE it!

Whose bottle is it? (6-09)

I made a bottle for Jacob and was about to feed him when Ryan asked if he could feed him. I said, "sure" and handed him the baby and the bottle.
Joshua said, "it's Dotuwa turn to feed Jacob". Ryan handed over the baby and the bottle.
Joshua said, "my turn" and proceeded to drink the bottle.
I said, "no that's Jacob's bottle" Joshua said, "okay" and gave it back to the baby.
Then he said, "it's my turn now" and drank some more.
Ryan said, "NO Joshua, that's the baby's bottle" and took in from his mouth
Joshua screamed, "NO Yi-in" Then Ryan got up to go the the bathroom when he was satisfied that Jacob had the bottle.
Joshua said smiling, "see yi-in it's MY bottle.

Code: Dotuwa= Joshua, Yi-in=Ryan

This is why Joshua is still on a bottle. If you don't give him his own, he just takes Jacob's.

Abused Baby (6-09)

Jacob is a great baby and hardly ever cries. Even when he does cry he is so cute. Look at that cute little face. Well, the boys were feeding him a bottle and I was taking pictures. Joshua ended up drinking most of the bottle so Jacob was a little mad. I laid him down on the bed to make another bottle. I was 10 feet away in the bathroom when I heard the thump. Jacob scooted and fell off the bed and hit his forehead on the corner of my nightstand. I felt terrible. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and never leave him on the bed unattended.
Jacob's first bruise. As soon as I picked him up, he stopped crying. I didn't realize it was that bad for a few minutes. He forgave me as soon as I put the bottle in his mouth. He's my fourth baby, you would think I would know better.

Lehi Rodeo (6-09)

Ryan, Justin, Jonathan, Katherine, and Victoria all ready to leave for the rodeo.
The kids were sitting so patient waiting for the rodeo to start.
Sandi, Marilyn, Katie and Tori
I didn't get very good pictures of the bull riding. They were moving way too fast. The kids were going crazy with cheering. My boys especially liked the motorcycle riders that did amazing jumps. It was a fun night and I can't wait to go again next year.

Jacob 6 months

My little Cubby is growing so fast. We just switched him from his bassinet to a new crib. Joshua is still using the one we already had. So, now we are the proud owners of two cribs.

Jacob loves to roll around on the floor playing with his toys. He is starting to get up on his knees and does an interesting army crawl to get to where he wants to go. He is an amazing sleeper and he smiles all the time. All of the older boys adore him. He is such a blessing in our lives!

Go-Karts at Boondocks! (6-09)

The boys had so much fun with their cousins Jon, Katie and Tori. Ryan got to drive his own car even though he is 4 inches too short. I was changing the baby while the older kids were in line. Ryan got in line and was in a car before I realized it. He had so much fun.

That day the kids also played miniature golf and played laser tag several times. What a fun day!
